Hey all! Fairly new to the Deuce and automotive world. I found these two mystery leaks and puddles on my deuce this morning. Can anyone explain what they are? Thanks!

my thoughts are coolant/head gasket?
Appears to be coolant......got a sweetish smell to it? Looks to be "florescent" green, indicating anti-freeze.....that area? Head gasket is a definite possibility

Check bottom of hoses, if wet.... Moisture usually doesnt go up hill.....it drips down though......creating a false trail

I would use this as an opportunity to look and learn what the different parts are on the engine and what they do. There should not be a coolant leak, but I would stay away from rapid assumptions such as "it's the head gasket".
Start at the top. There are the coolant manifolds with the short pieces of hose. Anything leaking there? It is the highest point where coolant goes.
Maybe just a loose clamp or leaking hose. Maybe loose bolt.

Oil leaks are a little trickier. I recommend to wash the engine or spray it with brake cleaner to get the gunk off. Then run it and see if you can spot the leak(s). Often it is not much; it just adds up over time.

While it is possible to stem all or almost all leaks on the Deuce (members have done it, usually with a lot of sleuthing and repair effort), the vast majority will leak something, somewhere.
