Mystery wire/plug

There is a metal tag on the wire (or should be). Scape off any paint/debris and try to read the number.

Also which truck version is this, between the number and the trucker version hopefully we can figure out what it attaches to from the TMs.

(and if there is no metal tag, that is a good indicator it's not a regular wire or has been modified at some point.)

Just a guess... from picture the wire looks a little long. The dirty boot looks like the one on the kick down control, side of transmission and that's based on the 6.2 engine in the picture. You got a three speed tranny? ( can I say that here ) Show a wider picture and what is on the other end or a wire tag. Guessing here on game show SS.

I'll try and solve the puzzle, CAMO

As cam says...It probably goes to the left side of the trans.
