Need a "Cornbinder" moved from 'ol Bamy to NC

Hey guys,

Richard "wreckerman893" has what's left of an old IHC crew cab that I am interested in, so I wanted to see if anyone might be headed this way from his neighborhood in the near future (Sand Rock, AL to just north of Raleigh, NC). He did say that there would be several guys from this neck of the woods going to the rally in GA in October who might be willing/able to help out. I wouldn't have a problem with waiting that long, or even longer for the right deal.

I really don't wanna spend a fortune on getting this thing moved as it's just a $200 parts truck. That being said, I don't expect anybody to do it for free either.

Hi Don, I don't have a solution for moving the cab, but I did want to say "good for you" for considering saving the thing. That seems to be a fairly rare piece and will hopefully have another life to live should you work out an affordable logistics solution.

Thanks Rick. I have a nearly identical one on the property already that I hope to start working on this fall. If I can somehow manage to make one good running/driving unit out of the two, I will be a happy camper!

Wreckerman has talked me into coming to the Georgia rally and collecting it from him there, and if I don't find a ride for it between now and then, I'll just haul it home myself. But if anyone can move it from there to here, I'll gladly pay you what it will cost me to rent a U-Haul trailer to carry it on.

Oh yeah, there's also no axles underneath it, so I also need to find someone Back in Wake County who has the means to lift it off!
