Pull up the big lever that is a little under the seat, if you have a winch you maybe moving the PTO lever. It should come all the way up to the seat.

Yeah it would be interesting to see if it will go into neutral.

hopefully this helps first. if is not cold out you should not need either if it starts on either then its not getting fuel your filters maybe draining to the point where when it starts on either it fill the filters and then runs.most of the time the fuel filters need to be full to run.check filters or for fuel leak. 2.if your not going more then 30 check to see if your in low range,if in low you wont go fast.

Maybe still looking at the linkage, changed out those 30" mud tires to some regular ndt's or shifted into another gear ??
