Yes, you are correct. This is one of the specialty tools for the M35A2 that nobody uses cause the just figure out some other tool to use that is more handy than finding this one that was packed away in some tool cabinet somewhere. PM sent.
Well you identified it but didn't tell him what its for. There are tons of spanner wrenches made for all kinds of custom applications. Thanks Jeepsinker and Carnac for answering his question and my curious mind. Would be cool especially if need to turn the crank in the opposite direction of the bolt instead of going around again and again.
