Nobody is "in trouble". It takes time to get the site figured out. I am trying to help you, not send you off...

OK, I got creative with jumper wires and verified that the engine runs good. Now I don't feel so iffy about spending money on it. I see where Kip just got a new job so that probably explains why I can't get hold of him. Does anyone know a good solution for cleaning the filter bowls and other assorted parts that are covered with a tar like substance from the old fuel?

OK, Got the new tank and a switch and put new filters in and it runs.
Volt meter is flaky but I verified the voltages with a VOM and it holds rock steady at 120-240.
Tomorrow I will change the oil and filter again since it was so dirty and then let it run for a couple of hours to flush things out some.
Thanks for the help guy's.

Rick
