I have just purchased a 1989 M35A2 from GovLiq. I have yet to pick the thing up and have a few questions:
First it appears this only has 23,000 miles and about 900 hours. Owned by the national guard I am hoping this means highway miles. The seats and interior seem clean, as does the outside. Of course this is from Gov Liq, they say it does not start which could simply mean the batteries are missing.
That being said I have to pick it up and was wondering the following:
1. How do you start it. While I was in the military I was 11B1P, I jumped from planes not trucks. I realize this has no keys, but a heads up on what to pull and check prior to starting would be great.
2. Anything in particular I should be looking for prior to starting?
Thanks. I have already lined up a tow truck just in case, but I believe it should start just fine. I will post more questions when I get it home.
