Need to extend some wires.

I need to extend a few wires. Has anyone ever used solder seal wire splices? What do you recommend. I don’t need to ever disconnect anything, just cut a harness and make it longer.

I like these have have never had an issue.. I do not like to solder splice wires as I have seen many many splices crack and you will have an issue. These butt connectors also also waterproof.

I have repaired many many aircraft flight control test cables and the only repairs I see fail have been soldered ones.

I use tectran cool seal on most wires. Moisture proof with the gel. Then coat with liquid electrical tape or spray electrical tape.
