Can it be driven to TX?
Have only used it around the yard since returning from the cross country trip. Have since bypassed the FDC, but it has a pyro, so that in itself is not a problem, but the knock and possible low oil pressure may be related to a rod bearing that's at the end of its useful life. Then again, I may be paranoid after so many posts about thrown rod(s) etc. It's had this knock for a long time, thousands of highway miles actually.
Engine runs virtually smokeless.
