Hey guys just thought I'd introduce myself. My friend and I have been wanting to pick up a deuce and fix it up in our free time so I've been doing research and reading around the forums trying to see if it's possible for us (both in early 20s with basic diesel knowledge) to do. It's mostly under the hood work that concerns me but a lot of it seems relatively simple with the TM diagrams and research. There aren't many GL or private sellers on the west coast it seems within a good distance for picking one up but I'm keeping my eyes open

I look forward to being a part of this community and hope I can become a deuce owner soon

Sorry I missed this; I've been a little overwhelmed lately.

Welcome aboard, fellow Sin City-ite. There are a few Deuces available locally (one or two on CL), but be careful of the one in Pahrump that doesn't have a title (it's overpriced for having sat so long anyway). There was a nice one with a winch available cheap in Hemet, CA, but I saw that guy just started to part it out and the winch is gone...too bad.
