New from New Orleans area - M116A1 Pioneer

[Expedition]

Just picked up a pioneer tool trailer today. Previous owner sometime along the line swapped out the axle to a regular trailer axle with electric brakes and a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern - and its too wide...

Need a few things...
- front landing leg, have the spring loaded pin in the casting, but the swivel/leg is MIA
- data plate, I have a picture of the original, but its long gone

Just a few months earlier. Buddy just did this swap, with the right width axle. so he could tow behind his cherokee sq bdy,to NM and he junked the old axle and landing leg..

Posted some pics on the trailer forum. This one is in really good shape, no rust, only real issue is that axle and teeny tiny tires.

Thinking that a narrower axle and a set of 285/75/R16 MT tires will really set it up nicely.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome! The Pioneers are very nice little enclosed trailers, I’ve been using mine quite often for years.
