New to the board. Hoping it to be a place to find older 40's and 50's parts for stuff we build. More interested in other uses military parts found during non war time and how they became part of other things.

and I use to have an old WC more a woods beater than anything

I have an old WWII truck that was used to plow snow. A dump bed was put on the back. but now it is in pretty bad shape. It almost made it to the scrapper when the prices were up but was saved due to lack of time.
