Just recently bought a M35A3 and have a few questions for you guys. First issue is an air leak. When we picked it up all tires were up, when we cranked it and drove it around before loading it everything was fine. When we got it on the trailer and killed it, the right rear tire went flat. It is leaking air at what I think is the air manifold, it is mounted across from the air dryer. Were it is leaking is at an elbow that comes out the bottom of this manifold, not sure what it is or if somthing is supposed to be hooked up to it, it looks to be about 1" in diameter. You can hear it cycle then it starts blowing air out of it and the wheel starts going flat. Secondly, we are wanting to put a hardtop on it, could someone give me a name or website to point me in the right direction. I am sure I will have more questions as we start trying to get in fixed up. Thanks, and I have read enough post to figure out I am going to get slammed for not having pictures but will try to get a few soon.

I don't have much experience working on the A3's, but most all I have seen have had flats, and if there were no flats, it is due to the CTIS being disabled. I have heard it is a system with a few issues. If it were my truck, i'd disable it too. I would suck to have a flat out on the road or out in the dirt somewhere. I know where there are a few decent hard tops out here on the west coast, but shipping would kill ya. Best advice, just keep looking in the classifieds here and start lookin' for a scrap yard out by you. Sermis here on SS might have some or know where to get one. Are there any MV clubs out by you? If so, try their monthly meetings, maybe they have a swapmeet or someone there knows where there is a cache of parts.
Oh yeah, almost forgot!
