Nice truck!!!
What year is that?
Interesting conversion as well, curious why that would of been done, most military vehicles now running on diesel, JP8,easier to carry logistically speaking.

Welcome to the site!

Looks like you converted it to a standard Chevy pickup but we won't hold that against you. ;-)

Welcome aboard.

OL AG '89:
The year is 1986

Transmission: 3 speed automatic
Replacement was carried out somewhere in the 90
When the laws in Israel against vehicles were less stringent.
The European Law
Currently working in Israel,
Thing that really limits us to ride improvements and upgrades,
But we live with it (have - but live)

In Israel and in general all the old terrain vehicles made GM
They are rare, unique, and hard to find....

And parts that we improvise with various things

good friend of my brother did his car grill
from air ducts of a home air conditioner

Thank you.....

My vehicle was used by the military air force in Israel.
is not equipped with Dana 60 - i want the Dana 80! with loker's.

Vehicles of infantrymen forces were equipped with Dana 60
and some stupid Resolution incomprehensible that the IDF made somewhere
in the 80s - the attempt to lower costs because the war
on terrorist organizations in Lebanon

so my model was the cheapest models that were behind the line
many vehicles with Dana 60 were sold to foreign states, mine is
among the few in Israel.... So I'm not complaining...
better massive axles will come at some stage.

I will upgrade him as much as possible as permitted
by law In Israel - that is anyway limited.

Believe me - in a day I would have American green card in hand
i'll go to the State of unlimited opportunities.
in the United States, no one can tell you which
tires you put your truck and what improvements
are allowed and those not.

in Israel, it can result in revocation of driver's license,
and in exceptional cases even crunching the vehicle
