I live 2 miles from the fair grounds, I plan on wandering in Saturday, maybe even Sunday also. The M817 won't make it, have had to many projects that took priority over getting it ready. It would be a short ride for it also!

1942 WWII MarkVI Bomb Hoist

I'll have this available, all cleaned up. Very nice piece of machinery. Even more rare are the 2 scanned factory line drawings from 1941 that come with it along with some photos of them being used to load The Black Cats.

Also bumping my list with some edits:

M103 bows - 1 short/1 long or 2 long
M101/116a2 or a3 front landing leg
M101/116 surge brake assembly

Long Shot List:
Deuce bed-mount bomb crane or #7 wrecker set
M107/Water Buffalo fender extensions
M200A1 w/ dualies and flat metal fenders (not diamond plate)

Drop me a note in advance if you might have something for me.

Thanks.

Steve

"...Is it ok to bring a dog to the show a friend wants to know..."

Timely question, first I'm hearing of this, and an answer not to my liking. This is an exact quote that was just posted to the MTA list for club members:
"FYI, To ALL , PLEASE READ FAIR RULES !! SORRY NO DOGS !!! NO PET POLICY :(

BOW WOW WOW has to stay home…

...The Fairgrounds has a NO PET policy...."

Steve
Not having my dogs with me would be like leaving my kids at home... My wife and I displayed one of our trucks for the weekend last year camping in the back of it along with our 2 dogs and had a great time.
I bet this may have something to do with the dog that was locked in a car in the parking lot last year.

We are not allowed to bring pets, but if you have a horse, that is okay. I treated my horses like pets when I was a kid. It is easier to get horse **** off your shoes than dog ****.
