The exhaust runs like that because it's a non turbo truck. They originally ran to a muffler behind the battery compartment. Once they went to the turbos, they went straight to the stack.Welcome to the site....
You must have bought that truck from the junkyard up in Shelby/Hart???
I looked over that truck when I bought my hardtop from him back in April. It was in pretty nice shape, other than the front damage. I thought he had a bumper, grill and some other pieces to fix it that came with the truck. If I remember right, it also came with an extra tranny and transfercase. You have a good start for your first Deuce, new insulated vinal top, with a heater, and a suspension seat. If I'm thinking right, The exaust was kind of weird/different on that truck. It didn't run straight to the stack, but under the truck, then to a muffler maybe, then back towrds the front to the stack?
Anyways, welcome and enjoy the Deuce. -Paul
That makes sense, I guess. I've never seen the exaust run like that before, it was a first for me.The exhaust runs like that because it's a non turbo truck. They originally ran to a muffler behind the battery compartment. Once they went to the turbos, they went straight to the stack.
