Hey guys and gals I just won this m135 yesterday

First I need to get it from AL to FL then I will need guidance from all you early deuce owners. My plan is to do a frame up resto, and maybe a multi fuel out of a later deuce? to be determined later maybe

Looks like a big project. Lots of brush truck add-ons. Looks like they dualed it out to help support that 2500 gallon? tank. I will state the obvious, don't plan on driving it back. When you get into it, the GMC owners here will point you down the right road. Good luck.

So I finally picked up my m135 up. You guys were right the forestry guys added a bunch of stuff that im going to have to remove/fix.

My father and I left at about 5:30am friday morning, and got back at about 11:45pm. Ride up was trouble free and smooth sailing. only took about 30 mins to load and chain down. The ride back was going fine for about 100 miles, then we hit a really bad storm (60mph winds, tornados, lots of lightning) It lasted for the rest of the trip back about 280 miles.

I will have pictures up later, then you guys will have to start telling me what stays and what goes.

Sorry no pictures yet, I keep forgetting.

I got the old truck running yesterday, runs good but needs a new exhaust manifold gasket. Im pretty excited, atleast its a step in the right direction. Now i have to rip of the forestry stuff. Then the rebuild can begin

Make sure you have the manifolds planed (intake and exhaust bolted together) or your new gasket will not last very long. The GMC's are known for warping the exhaust manifold.
