Hello everyone. I am a new member from Georgia. I recently purchased two Humvees (M998 and M1038.) They actually arrived today. I'm pumped and can't wait to get more familiar with the Humvee world.

Question: Is there a place where I can gain basic knowledge on the terminology in this world? I see there are a lot of abbreviations but do not know what they mean or where to go looking for information.

You're right down the road from us.

The TM's have a lot of the abbreviations. It's a good start. The basic operators manual is probably where I'd start.

Make sure to plan to make it to the Ga. Rally in October. Right down the road from you. There is a link below to the info thread.

The TM is the technical manual. They are broke down by suffix. The -10 is the operators manual. Not sure what we have here on site or exactly what the whole TM number is. BTW, welcome aboard from N GA.
