New member from WV

Hi all,

I have always wanted a tank, never been entirely sure if I would achieve the means to own one, but the possibility of something in the near future has had me more seriously considering what kind of work it would take, what I would want, and what it would actually take monetarily, on the chance I do get the opportunity.

So I have been doing a lot of searching and found and read some on this forum over lunchbreak today - it seemed like a great resource and nice people, I have always struggled to find answers to questions about such a niche subject as tank ownership.

Living in WV for work now, grew up in northern Virginia. Went to the nokesville tankfarm event last weekend and it was probably a mistake LOL, can't stop looking up tank stuff now.

Several of the guys have tracked vehicles here and depending on how high you set your sights, a tank could be had. You got to see that in Virginia last weekend. For sure, all that depends on how fat your wallet might be and how much work you can do on it yourself. The tough part is that along with a tank will come a trailer and a tractor to drag it around - unless you have a really big back yard.

Since you were looking on your lunch break - maybe you already saw it - but we have a section dedicated to armor.
