New MEP004A owner looking for light-off sanity check

My generator was sans IP when I got it.

Very expensive for a replacement, but I'm looking for a take-off or rebuildable core.

Did you ever come up with an IP for the MEP4?

Leedawg or ??--Hoping someone can help me out on something. The MEP004A is showing evidence of a fuel leak somewhere I haven't been able to track down. For a little background info--the tank on this unit is the SS version and appears to be in good shape with no visible impact damage or anything. We replaced the small fuel hose sections that connect the tank fittings to the various steel tubing running to/from the tank. We did not remove any other fittings from the top of the tank (fill hose flange etc.) . I did discover (from my son pulling the fuel fill hose off another unit in work) that two barb type hose fittings pierce the upper section of the fill hose. Since I filled the tank all the way to the brim (filling the neck hose too), possibly some fuel leaked across either or both barb fittings. Right now I'm using old newspaper to wick up the residual diesel in the "bilge" areas..I'm actually wondering if it's possible for the SS tank bottom to have a small hole or crack in it...Anyone else run into this situation on an MEP 004A?
