Hello all. New to the site and a new toy to play with. Definitely looking forward to and currently partaking in the busted knuckles and frustrated screams of things gone wrong...

M1123 out of Yermo. Took about 1 year to get the vehicle and about four months to get the SF97. Have had the vehicle for about a year now. When we got it it was not running. I changed fluid and filters (engine, coolant, air and fuel) I still have yet to do the tranny and gear boxes. Put new batteries, pvc valve was missing driver side valve cover was missing as well. All that being done and after 3, 10 to 15 second start cycles she fired up, she had to finish pushing the air through and after about 2 to 3 minutes was running about as smooth as a 6.5 could run. My boys ( 3 and all teens) love using it in their airsoft field and driving it around on the property. goes through the gears just fine and rides about as smooth as a boulder. However, just last month we have started experiencing diesel algae... and now the real fun begins.

Cheer's all

The cure for diesel algae is multi fold.

There are chemicals that you need to add to the diesel.

You might need to change the sock and the filters if they are currently clogged.

That means you might perhaps need to drop the fuel cell and clean it out with the sock, and then clean all the lines.

From this point forward, most likely you will always need to add poison to the diesel to prevent the algae from growing, unless you plan to sterilize the vehicle from the portal to add fuel all the way to the exhaust.

You have a fine truck. It’s wonderful you can share it with your kids.
