RE: Re: RE: Neato...

The Mercedes loader backhoe is the SEE small emplacement excavator. Good idea just not quite up to the task. The Case hoe works pretty good the loader is a POS. It has left side hydraulics and a hyd chain saw and pavement breaker. At the time it was imported by Freightliner.

I'd much rather have the new JCB HMEE. 50 mph and a real loader.

Now Jeli...doesn't that depend on the task...I'm sure the JCB has a larger price tag associated with it. Occasional digging and such would make it fit well on my farm...but then again, I'd like the above too...very nice indeed. I can see myself cruising 50mph down the freeway hehe

I was surprised to see what the TM had to say. You'll note that top speed towing with the dolly is rated at 30mph...I find that rather slow to say the least. I do know that it will tow at 55mph just fine
Old thread, but I've been reading the manual on my M197A1 and noticed the 30 mph rating too. I don't see any significant difference between this dolly and a civilian one. Why should I not tow at a more reasonable highway speed?
