Hi all!!

Just wanting to say hey from the GREAT State of South Carolina. While I don't (yet) own a MV, I am interested in the M1009, and I was looking for info on it when I came across this site. While I'd REALLY love a Willys Jeep, I realize I'd have to give up the left side of my male anatomy to get one, so the M1009 will work!

So far, I've like what I've seen on here, and am beginning to get addicted to it! (Ya'll should see the looks I get fromt he wife when I tell her I've been on here!!) Anyways, expect to see a lot of questions from me, and I look forward to eventually meeting some of you guys (and gals) in the future sometime!!

Hey! You paint that Honda Olive Drab and put some markings on it and you are good to go!

As a benefit the new color will start training your wife on the coloration of your future vehicle purchases. If she leaves you don't worry, you will still have us!!!:???::???::???:

Welcome!!!

Since you are in Rock Hill, we expect you at the Uwharrie Rally, Apr 22-23, the VA Rally, Sep 2-5, and the GA Rally, Oct 19-23, whether you have an MV by then or not! Not to mention Haspin (June 9-12), Fl (Feb), AL (Apr 8-9) and Aberdeen(May)!

I'll have to keep those dates and places in mind. Hopefully I'll have a job by then :?, and I may be able to take some time off! I'll take it that these are deep woods camping adventures? Do they tend to be "family friendly", or does everybody have a few and howl at the moon? (I ask because I have a wife and 4 year old son that I'd be bringing with.)

Hmmmmmmm........OD on my Civic......THAT would be an original paint scheme for a Civic!! However, I don't think a set of NDT's will fit under it. Although I've talked about putting a Pinto body on a small 4x4 chassis before! [thumbzup]

Will do! I certainly don't want to bring my wife and son where there's a whole lot of drinking and such. I don't mind people having a beer or two, but I don't care to have my family around folks who've had way too many, ya know! I'll dig through the pics to see what all kind of fun happens!!

Welcome to the site! Your more than welcome to come down to Winnsboro to the RR museum, where I keep all my MVs. I'll let you drive one, or 5. :-D And definitly try to make a rally. You'll learn alot and your family will have a great time.

"Ferroequinologist"....funny!!

I've lived in Rock Hill since 1988, and have never known that there was a railroad museum in Winnsboro!! I've been to the one in Spencer, NC, once, but that's it. I'll have to bring the kid down there. He LOVES trains!! (What 4 year old boy doesn't??)
