Welcome aboard, I'm just about an hour west of you right along I-70 in Ohio. It's a great site with a ton of information. You'll have your MV sooner than you think. I only joined the site in April, and I just made my first vehicle recovery this week. I didn't even intend on buying a truck until after I was a member, I joined because of my generators but you'll get hooked on more than just the CUCV.

Wow! Thanx for the replies. Rattlewagon I grew up on Jefferson Ave, across the street from the Bronson House football field. Sephirothq, would prefer a turn-key but basically will be looking for something to tinker with. Truthfully I'm on here to learn all I can before I start to look for one. Would love/hate a deuce but don't have the room for one.

Hey butter, welcome! as mentioned this is a rockin' site. the search function will show you that almost every aspect of mv's has been covered. Ive found it hard sometimes to get what im after but its there. again, welcome and if you have any q's ill sure try and answer them. Im down in washington twice a week so if you need somethin let me know

I can't speak for the other MV's but from what I've read, you can get a turn-key vehicle and still have something to tinker with. I haven't heard of anybody who doesn't have to tinker with their MV no matter the condition.
