Newby considering M1009 for hunting truck....need info

So if a decent cow goes 4-500 pounds, you get 300 out of that? Ok. We did process both of those bulls (although I won't do more than one at a time again). One was a 5x5 and the other a slightly larger 5x6. Pulling more than 50% net from a carcass? Hhhhmmmm? Here is a study by the WY extension that shows some baseline numbers. http://www.wyomingextension.org/agpubs/pubs/B594R.pdf If you are packing more than 200 pounds (per your weight suggestions) per trip, 14 miles round trip and 3k+ of vert for two trips than you are a much better mountain goat than Ol Sarge. But thanks for the input.......
