Nhc 250 cummins pt pump rebuild

I have a 1979 international transtar 4200 dump truck. It has a 1978 NHC 250 cummins in it with a turbo. My pt fuel pump is leaking and loosing its prime. I'm having no Luck finding a rebuild kit or gaskets. I found a shop that rebuilds pt pumps but they want $300 for parts or $1300 for the rebuild. Any help is appreciated yall

Taylor diesel in Memphis is around 850 for the full rebuild.

$300 for parts isn't too far off if you're getting Viton o-rings and gaskets.

Thanks for the replies so far. I have been told that I should definitely let a shop do the rebuild so it is set right is this true?

Yes. You have to have a flow test machine
