If you still have the problem after checking your fluid level. Then your "air-pack" needs rebuilding. Also if your that low on brake fluid, your leaking it somewhere and need to find it and fix it. More then likely a wheel cylinder is leaking at one of the wheels.
All the above a good sequence of checking out your problem. The remote is a great modification. I make my own out of "parts" around the workshop.
