Who is the next scheduled driver? I heard there is quite a long waiting list. I guess I don't need to drive it. On the Marengo trip, I realized the seat was woefully inadequate. I bought a pair of humvee seats. The driver side cam with a base, but its not a springer. (has a spring, but only helps on height adjustment). I am in the process of making the humvee seat fit the original springer base on the 932.

If the 900 has the same springer base as the deuce, I have a super simple way of mounting the HMMWV seat. The deuce I just sold has one that I installed.

I had the same thing happen to my 915 on the way back from GA last year- spring inside one cylinder had broken, and wouldn't release the brake all the way.

Yeah Steve, without a trailer, they are aweful. With an empty one, they are somewhat tolerable. With a loaded trailer, they behave themselves.

I am gonna maqke it work with 2 pieces of 4"x14" flat stock. The mounting holes on the HMMWV seat are completely outside the springer base.

Gimp must have called DH right after I talked to him. Told him about the slack adjuster, but I don't have a lot of experience with them. And said DH would know!
