Gimp and I once tried to toss a deer in the bed of a 2.5 ton truck for ballast. Couldn't do it though...

Wish I had that on video.

What he failed to mention is that this deer had committed suicide just hours earlier by ramming the side of the very truck that was attempting to recover it. I was following them and despite great effort and a dozen attempts, the lifeless deer was not going to cooperate. My stomach hurt for days from the side splitting laughter.

Sounds funny! How many people were trying to lift this deer? I have recoved deer by myself and it was no easy task. I used ratchet straps and my guns to get those darn things in my truck. If your truck has a winch, pull up the deer by the midsection till it reaches the bumper, then tie or strap it to the bumper. You might get some deranged looks by others but hey, it works lol. Then the sirens go off, " Oh poop, how do I explain this one?"
