I'm looking to buy a M816 wrecker. Does anyone know of any for sale in western Michigan or northern Ohio or Indiana?

I have a M816 on a 10 ton M125 Chassis... 1400 X 24 rubber.... 45,000 lb. front drag winch, 45,000 rear drag winch.. Runs great... diesel generato mounted to operators station.. Too much to list... Was Asking $25,000.00 will take $20,000. for it... Thanks.. Steve (201) 522-4936

That one is a potential. Decent price, running condition unknown, the decision will hinge on what it costs me to get it transported.

Now the Highpoint wrecker - M816 body on a M125 chassis - now that is a WRECKER!!!!!!!! I'm gonna seriously talk to the guy about it. More than a bit more than I wanted to spend, but I sure won't need any Viagra with that sitting in my yard repainted 3 color camo!!!!

The M125 is a gas powered truck. There is a M816 IN THE FOR SALE FOR 12K AS WELL. The M125 is pretty sweet though!! He put some loot into it.

I've been looking into the M816 in Ohio, the one in the SS classifieds (that one is in Missouri) and another one in Nebraska.

But that M126/M816 wrecker is "DA TRUCK"! If I could figure out a way to get it home I'd send the seller a check tomorrow. I can live with the LeRoi gas engine and a crash box, but driving it from New Jersey to western Michigan at 42 mph is a bit much. I wouldn't even be able to drive it on an Interstate highway!

Come on Steel Soldiers brothers, help me find a way to get this puppy (well, more like a junk yard dog) home without spending an arm and a leg and I will bring this rare artifact back into the SS brotherhood!
