guess 50's amphibs can go in this forum..

auction ended...looked like a nice rig and only $39K..but no bids and not sold.. Seems I've seen regular Dukws go for more.. Wonder why..? maybe $39K is a relative term for affordability..?

I thought I read that all the Drakes were scrapped. Ya this surprises me about the Super DUKW. I would have thought it was an easy sale.

I would have expected a one of a kind piece like that to go for a lot more, but since there are so few of them, there's no way to judge their value.

Also, it doesn't have the "WWII pedigree" that a 353DUKW has.
