I would use steel electrical conduit.
make your hoops and then set them into tubes in the floor
Just like the 116 and 105 flat bed generator trailers.

I would use 1" or larger to make it sturdy and hold up better.
Check Mytarps.com for a price on a machine cover.
mine is holding up well to 24 / 7 Pittsburgh weather.

I love the idea for the electrical conduit, it fits right into the budget i was aiming for. Ive just got to find the size that will work for Highway use, I DJ all over central WV and Northern WV, so I need to know it wont bend or fall apart, yes its a budget built, but I cant find anyone else who has done this, and I want it too look good. What material did you order? Poly? As well on the back where the gate is, Id like a flap....either cut and hemmed so I can Tie it closed, or Zippers going vertically So I could unzip it and throw it ontop, I dont see anything on their website So I may need to call them.
