Normal top speed for Deuce

As far as I can tell, it has always been this way. I did get some improvement when I pulled the filters and put on all new spin on's. I know I have a crappy fuel tank and I have a new one in the garage, just haven't had time. I will try the biologic killer after I change everything. Thanks for all the info as always.

2200 rpms puts me at 45 mph. And that’s screaming. All the faster I’ll go in it. Does that sound right ?

got 60mph out of mine on the #405fwy for about 20 miles........ fun....not!

My top speed used to 55 mph, after I put on super singles the top speed increased to 62 (15% bigger wheel, 15% faster). However, if there's any sort of uphill slope involved my top speed varies widely.
