11/11/11 Is the time and date this is all about !!! The NYC Vets Parade also known as AMERICAS PARADE ! Is on and we are going in force again, I need drivers name vehicle type and cell phone of driver, This is a security rich environment
ALL same as last year and years before , We are mustering at the 6 Brothers Diner Clifton NJ , Under Police escort we will go thru the Lincoln Tunnel to the street we stage on,

ANYONE FROM ANYWHERE IS INVITED!!!!! This is ALL ABOUT VETERANS!!!! AND WHAT WE AS A HOBBY CAN AND ARE DOING FOR THEM

This event is a to do event, The escort is something you have to experience to believe, The parade has now 35,000 attendees, !!!!! ACTUALLY IN THE PARADE OVER 600,000 watching from the streets. !!!

If you have done it you know how cool it is, If you want to do it now is the time !!! You can trailer your MV !!! We drive MV's into the city, there is no place to unload or load at end of parade trailers are welcome at the 6 Brothers Diner all day , Even from the night before THEY APPRECITE VETERANS DAY!!!

Many get there early and have breakfast and coffee, we pull out 0830 SHARP!! We can pick people up on rt 3 on the way , You are welcome to meet us in the city if you come another way !!!

The Military Transport Association Inc. 501c4 will supply a BBQ Dinner for ALL MV's and there occupants at the end of the parade for your support !!! This is an annual Dinner from day 1 ... We have permission from the NYC police to park ON THE SIDEWALKS at the BBQ Place to fit us in ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Its good truck and Parade talk at the end of the day !!!! We do the parade in 3 serials, so we get to dinner each a little differently, The MTA picks up the Tab at the end )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

This is an all day event, We get to watch about half of the parade , BUT >> the Jeeps kick off the parade !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Jeeps carry ww2 and Korean Vets !!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW COOL IS THAT IN N Y C !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of the Jeeps come around and do the parade AGAIN )))))))))))))))))))))))))) The trucks will cary ALL VETS OF ALL ERAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If You want !!!!!!!!!! You do NOT HAVE TO !!! Many come with canvas on, many already have riders, !!!

ALL GOOD ALL WAYS COME SUPPORT THIS AMAZING EVENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's always a fantastic experience! Count me in! I know it's sometimes difficult or nerve-racking to get these old war machines out and into the city, but it's totally worth it to show up in force and show our appreciation for the veterans. Without them, we wouldn't even have this hobby!

Risking possible breakdowns, fast traffic, and tunnel exhaust fumes is half the excitement...

THANKS AND ALL TRUE!!!!! So worth it, One thing we always try to do is tell all to have a travel buddy if possible, We have tow barred an M 37 , And My Mule ( Used to own ) so far off the parade routs ... in gee its like almost 11 years now !!

We have NEVER Left a Man , Woman , Dog , OR >> MV behind !!!!

If You think you can its worth it, Its a long day that goes fast ! Bring warm clothes, Food and refreshments, There are delis on our block or just one away, other coffee houses near also, Watching the Parade is worth the trip BUT >> Then we get to BE IN IT!!!!!!!!

There is parking at the diner all night its a 24 hour diner, they know we come, They just want us to park in the upper FAR corner in the back Please

Any one who can carry vets is appreciated We have some groups of Veterans and Active Soldiers that may ride in the back . My Am top down windshield down and have soldiers riding on the back

Anyone else that can that is meeting us in the city would be cool also, We let all know ahead of time that its only a one way ride, they either have a bus at the other end or there rides they came with, fyi ....

Don't forget we buy a BBQ Dinner just before we pull out of the city, We arrive there through out the afternoon , they know We show up with the check at the last run "_)

Trying to get the rig ready for the parade....last minute as usual haha I have an American flag no problem - I really want a POW/MIA flag to go with it. However, the places I checked only have made in china flags. I refuse to purchase that. Anyone know of a source of USA made POW/MIA flags?

Looks like enter through park Ave onto 28th street stop before Madison . We will be one block back from parade . Please stay to the right 2 lanes we want to keep the left lane open .

Huge --Santa Claus is making his debut saluting our vets and all service personal !! And he is convoying in with us !! Can you believe it !! Yes folks this is not an elf ! It's the real Santa himself and when you meet him you will know too he will be riding high with us)
