The literature I found on the oa331 said fully dressed the engine weighs 872 pounds and with transmission it weighs just shy of 1200 pounds.

A fully dressed multifuel is about 1700 pounds without a transmission.
I think this is about right. I have 3 of them here and 1Kish is my guess.

any idea about the t-case weight?

mine is the T-136-21 sprag operated.

BTW - is there a way to lock the t-case in the 6x6 position?

i want it to be all time 6x6.

i pulled out the t-case today, T-136-21 sprag.

it's weight is 537lb and it's size is less than 1/3 of the 331.

sorry, but there's no way the 331 is only 340lb more than the T-136.

you can laugh and/or patronize as much as you wish but you'd better make sure first there's no mistake here.

add this to the fact that the 465 MF is for sure between 1800 and 1900lb and you'll probably see that it's not likely that the MF is twice the weight of the 331.

i'll answer my own question about locking the T -136 - 21 t-case in an all time 6x6 position =

took it apart today and welded the two sprags together with the sprag ring.

simple and easy.
