great pics! The truck and the scenery look great. The Blue Ridge parkway here in Ga is a great ride.

Nice pics, we took a couple of Deuce's for a spin today, but the scenery was nothing like that.
I need to get back up and visit that area again. We used to camp there fairly often.

The tags are truck tags, the DMV said because of the weight I had to have them. The postings on the Parkway say "NO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES", in my mind this is not a commercial truck, nobody hassled me. Insurance is through All State, $13 a month, its good to be middle aged with a good driving record. :-D

I also had to get commercial tags thats why I was wondering if they would say anything to you. I think I'm paying less now to insure 5 trucks than I paid for 1 car back in the 80's (had a few speeding tickets back then). Getting older and smarter does have some advantages.

Dear Johnfrombeyond:

Boy, I really miss home and your photos pretty much said it all, from the Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge to the Tornado Capital of Texas. In states as in ladies, flat ain't where its at! The Blue Ridge Parkway would be will suited for a deuce with good brakes and strong engine, as the speed limit's 25 MPH (good for Unimog's too!), I was working on the restoration of a 1927 Model "T" Ford car when I got ready to leave home, I sold it (bad move no 2), as it would have been really nice to ride the parkway with the windshield open in the spring or the fall. The deuce has that facility too, and gearing to match. Good luck and do take more photographs for us old cohees who got thrown out of the mountains.:-D

Cheers,

Kyle F. McGrogan
