is there a benefit associated to the higher pressure rating of the 51061?

In this particular application... no.

51060 Burst pressure: 270 psi
51061 Burst pressure: 285 psi

Average HMMWV oil pressure: 30-60 psi

I will clarify that the pressure is 30-60 when "warm".

I am a new owner and can testify that when it's 20F out, start + go 45-50 mph, you will get 120+ PSI. But nowhere near burst pressure. Once I had gone a few miles, let her idle while in Menards as I purchased new bolts for the brush guard, she was warm enough that the pressure never went above 60 psi once I went on the road again.

If I remember correctly it uses the same filter as a Chevy 350 motor...

I was at my local wallyworld the other day looking for oil filter. They had Bosch D3510 on clearance for $5, so now i dont need to buy oil filters probably for the rest of my motor life.
