Hello all,
I have a question about my deuce. Its a 1970 AM General M35A2 W/W. The data plate reads M35A2C WO/W, so at some point someone removed the drop side cargo bed and it was later replaced with a standard bed.
My question is that does it make the truck worth any more money than another of comparable condition and setup IF mine happens to be the first deuce built in 1970 under AM General's contract with the government? According to what I'm looking at on the data plate and the serial numbers it would appear that my truck is the first one built on the 1970 contract for AM General.
I'm not really looking to sell my truck but I do like to learn more about the truck and its worth. Plus it would me sound better when justifying more money being put into the truck when going to my local bank, AKA the wife, lol.
My truck has been restored by myself back to a Vietnam era paint job and markings.
Any opinions are welcomed!
Thank you,
Corey
