How often do we see somebody say "use the forum search, it's been covered already" in a thread? Every day multiple time indicating that most do not read old threads.
I think sometimes people just need to relax and not sweat the little things. The picture will be gone in a few days...Who cares, he came for emotional support and he got it... the picture vanishes and we all move on tho other topics.
I would say the majority of the time people suggest to "search, it's been covered", that they say so because they know the facts/info is already posted and readily available. What is there to gain by posting in a new thread, old information that has been posted dozens or hundreds of times?
Maybe consider this theory, "If your not part of the solution, you are part of the problem"(yes kind of extreme, but is pretty true). I am never offended by positive constructive criticism, nobody should be. One of the main goals of this website is to be a
great resource for correct and useful information(that takes maintenance, and is what moderators do).
The forums are not a daily chat line, that's what the Chat is for. It is for sharing and solving MV issues. If you want to chat, use the chat rooms. That info disappears after you post it(does not use server space).
