Nice... I'm going the long route also with sanding/priming as time permits. Hope to be ready to paint by May. I'm using 383 CARC type I in the gallon cans that I bought from ranchhopper.. I am also working on a 87' Samurai in parallel that I will park in the bed of the deuce with a matching 3-color camo paint job..

Looks good! I'm planning on doing the same thing myself, when I'm done with the brakes....and wheel seals.....and brake light switch..... I guess I'll be a while. :?

I was in the 2nd Bn 5th Cav Regt when I was on active duty. I miss Fort Hood and the 1st Cav Division.

On a side note......DO NOT use the Rapco paint on the exhaust stack of your truck...... It will burn and turn brown. ( I know I am a dummy :oops:)
