Hello Group,
I am parting out a pair of M530 deuce fire trucks for a friend who does not have the time or interest in pulling little bits and pieces... He uses a torch, not a wrench, but recognizes that collectors will likely want a lot of stuff off these. I tried to talk him into selling them intact rather than part them out, and if someone is interested in a complete truck, act quickly and I will ask him what he wants for the whole thing - he would probably do it. They are very rusty though.... Most of the sheet metal has holes in it. They are also both rather crunched up, as the pictures show. One engine is complete and would probably run, it's a White with D-turbo. The other engine is incomplete. Both have air assisted steering. All PTOs, pumps, etc. are intact. Lots of gauges and valves...
You can post what you want here or send me a PM, I will make lists and then ask the owner for prices, and I will be doing the pulling and shipping, etc. I hate to do it, and I wanted to buy one of them myself, but I try to be positive and think, "Some trucks must die so that others may live..."
Regards,
Jon
