It was dedicated and caught your eye... looks fine..will work on a fender slope... You can find a 20 BC for the cheap at a lot of restaurant auctions etc... Do not pay a lot, but always keep it with you and know how to use it... check out the ratings and the recharge date etc.. New ones are not always in code... etc..

I was told by a fireman that if you are concerned about your dry extinguisher's fill being dated, up-end it and beat it with a rubber mallet to knock the particles loose from how they settle. I'd like a CO2 extinguisher or a foam one. The dry ones leave a big mess.

Better a mess, than nothing to clean up for sure... Yes, you can agitate the powder in BCs, but what about the corrosion on the valves etc...

fire

We was just finishing up at a new school when some kids broke in over the weekend and pulled the pin on the kitchen hood. It just flooded the whole kitchen and you could see where they had taken off running though the powder. Wish I could have seen the look their faces. :D Wayne

RE: fire

I will have some big CO2s for sale at Gilbert next week. Also some air pressurized water extinguishers. Free refills, lots of fun for a water fight or wet Tee contest. JT
