6.9 Powerstroke huh...... Do you mean 6.9 IDI, or 7.3 IDI, or 7.3 Powerstroke, 6.4 Powerstroke, 6.7 Powerstroke The 6.4 and 6.7 powerstrokes are common rails so I would avoid them in the name of simplicity,....QUOTE]

Good call on the specification there, but the 6.7 is the new one, built in plant by Ford, not Navistar. It isn't a PowerStroke.

Since everyone liked these so much thought id post a close up pick. These are actually really nice rims there over 2 inches thick of aluminum. Better than a tractor trailer rim. Thinking of powder coating them black so they don't stick out so much.

... It isn't a PowerStroke.
well, the badge on my '11 truck says it's a PowerStroke...

P-stroke is a Ford name, not Navistar's. it's an ambiguous brand name for marketing purposes and does not have anything to do with either model, manufacturer, design, or technology. just like Duramax.

back on topic to the original topic:

Don't know much about 350 engines but I know it only runs good on racing fuel, it sounds like a jet engine, it sucks fuel like its going out of style, and it will burn all 4 tires off. I don't really care any how just letting ya know its getting sold to my buddy anyhow.

If this setup is what jjramrod wanted and is happy with his purchase, then it was worth every cent he gave for it. I know that I am happy with the purchase price of the one that I have. Well that is just my 2cents worth. Congrats and good luck with your planned setup.

looks like a M1038 due to the winch plate on the front. Could be a m998 that has winch plate bolted to it. Is the winch there or missing?

You have the later a2 winch frame extensions (channel type knee brace from lower a-arm pivot bolts to frame extensions) with an older 6k winch plate. Older knee brace is flat stock with a twist. See picture. So it may not be an M1038. Check passenger door sail panel for plate information.

Just read this thread, you probably should have got on here and asked..."is this a good price?" Most guys on here probably wouldn't have paid over $10,000 for that (probably less than that).

I thought some guys on here had fully restored military trucks for sale for around $25,000-35,000...that would have probably been a better option; but to each his own. It is your money and you can do whatever you want with it, just most on here don't believe that someone would have been that naive to pay that much.
