In the advanced mode, the forum doesn't "see" 4 or 5 of the images I've already uploaded.

Use the "ATTACH" tag to place them in the order you wish displayed. You can alternatively sequence them in the order you wish from the advance window as well. I tend to upload images one at a time (the MV of the month threads for example) to place them in the sequence I want. Otherwise the server assigns a file number, not name, to the upload. If anyone else is uploading as well, it can jumble the seq number. It makes sense from a system storage/sorting stance, but not in a real world/multiple users doing this at the same time sense. Sorry.

What's going on? I drug several images to the bottom and one was "greyed" out but it wouldn't allow me to delete it.

I have had some luck dragging the pictures into the order I want them in the "Attachments" window, after uploading them one at a time.
Sometimes it will reshuffle them, but cursing at it and saying "NO, not that way!!" loudly whilst dragging it back does seem to help.
