Same here, started with a deuce, now look what I have. This disease can only kill you if you let the truck fall on your head. Let him have a truck.

Now we will need pictures so we can vicariously feed our addiction!! Best of luck on looking at the truck. We have been there before and can help with buying advice.

:papabear::jumpin:
BTW y'all are a bunch of butt munchies for siding with him. Pics will follow if he takes the leap.

That just means I get a HEMMT and a PX4 Storm. [thumbzup]

IMG_0826.jpgIMG_0850.jpgSturmTyger380,

I have never posted pictures on this site due to issues I've had with a couple of local members. However, I'm going to need all the help I can get if my crazy a$$ husband buys the truck he found. So, I'll indulge your request, and thank you for any help in the future. That's my girl working it at a couple of events this year. I think I need practice posting pictures.

I also need to start compiling a list of possible parts suppliers. I do lots of business with Boyce and have been made aware of Alpha Heaven. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This may or may not be helpful to the early deuce....

A little closer to you than Boyce, just North West of Boise, ID is the Idaho Motor Pool:
http://idahomotorpool.com/

I like ordering from the following too:
http://eriksmilitarysurplus.com/
http://www.bigmikesmotorpool.com/
http://www.thosemilitaryguys.com/

And of course, the big name suppliers:
http://www.boyceequipment.com/
http://www.easternsurplus.net/

http://ccsurplus.com/
http://www.tnjmurray.com/
http://memphisequipment.com/
www.ebay.com

And many, many more... :naner:
(just see the banner ads on this very site)

My secret though? My favorite place to order from is the really awesome folks found here:

I have found parts also at:

Sam Winer Motors Akron Oh
Surplus City Jeep Parts (sometimes)

Sometimes you can find rare goodies at military flea markets. Or just ask and we might can help find something.

Oh Boy

IMG_0897.jpgIMG_0899.jpgGot her started and drove around some then the fuel lines clogged up. Going to bring her home tomorrow, with luck.

Have an EMERGENCY REQUEST! Can any one direct a girl to the operators manual for the truck so my crazy better half can learn to work the transmission.

Alan,

Got your PM and want you to know I think you are a doll. The old girl is darn near museum quality and I have never seen a bigger smile on soldier A's face. He has wanted an M211 since he was about 8. Before the fuel lines clogged she purred like a kitten and shifted like a race car. Guy put a brand new holey carb on her from Memphis Eq.

I have to say it was impossible not to fall in love with her. Now we just need a killer name for her.
