USMC that's really cool. Like the menising look of the second picture. We just got back from Morton and need a little recovery time, and then we will get to all the details.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!

I have never posted pictures on this site due to issues I've had with a couple of local members. However, I'm going to need all the help I can get if my crazy a$$ husband buys the truck he found. So, I'll indulge your request, and thank you for any help in the future. That's my girl working it at a couple of events this year. I think I need practice posting pictures.
The op manual suggests getting them warm at idle/ neutral then letting them idle in gear.....F-1 High Range.... for 5 minutes before getting an accurate reading for transmission fluid level. If you're confident the level is good, you'll be pulling the floor pan and checking the adjustment on the front band......I don't see a lot of info in the manual for a hard shift between 2 and 3 but there's still, idle, timing, different oils and linkages to play with. Topping up the transmission has fixed that problem on both my runners., she is shifting very hard from 2nd into 3rd gear.
That's just what my wife's mother told her years back when she started to think it was a bad thing. Now SHE owns her own vehicles too.Just be glad he isn't out chasin' women. Now at least you'll know where he is.
I also need to start compiling a list of possible parts suppliers. I do lots of business with Boyce and have been made aware of Alpha Heaven. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
PM sentWe're not a business or supplier, but our "Group" has a running M-220 they decided to get rid of as no one has stepped forward to work on it, and we were given an M-211 that couldn't be titled so it became a supply of parts. All are available relatively inexpensively if anyone's interested. Let us know
