Power differences in my deuces?

I have been messing with my M35 fuel rate a bit lately.

pyro is pre turbo.

it takes a fairly good grade with full pedal to get the egt to 1150.

smokes like a coal burner when under full load.

i will leave it alone now.

next thing i will be talking about will probly be changing the head gaskets!

we will see.

My opinion is that you're probably not dong to solve your smoke problem until you turn down the droop setting a little. I turned down my main fuel setting a couple of times with very little effect on smoke. When I turned down the droop screw 1/8 turn the smoke reduced.

I've got an LDS in a bobbed deuce so me problem is fuel economy. I've got all the power I can use. I'm going to turn the main fuel delivery and droop screw down again.
