progress on my 715

I took off the old nose and bumper, and replaced with some newer stuff, rewired completely, new gauges, cleaned up the dash, shackles all around , bumperettes, new front and rear turn signals , back up lights tucked under the tail gate, pintle hook,pass. door, new canvas, hard top waitin for winter. just gotta get some green together for new paint, maybe cummins beige? pics in my album !

I bet the spring bushings were bad in front springs, almost all of them are and tire ware will be hi if there bad also the front end will shimmy

Suspension and driveline are next on the list, maybe upgrade the transfer case and the axles, depends on the money situation.would love to do the 4bt !! Would the local spring shop carry those bushings or is that some thing i would need to order Bob?

only 2 ways to go, new surplus springs or try to find some surplus spring bushings. you,ll have to press them out and back in, you cant use a hammer.....

I'm confused - in your album you have two sections, is the AFTER the one with the huge bumper or the stock bumper?

the after is the one with the stock bumper, the other bumper was beat up, as were the fenders

dont know if your looking for a resto or a wheeler , but there is one on the 715 zone for sale called the iron mule , he has put a lot of work into it thats for sure.
