NEW TRANS BUILD
Today I started the process getting all the parts I need to install a 700R4 into the Campulance.
Parts needed:
1. 6.2 TV cable for 700R4 54" (new)
2. TV cable mount
3. Overdrive indicator for the 700R4
4. Flexplate for 6.2 diesel with 700R4 (Ordered from Rockauto use 1988 Diesel Blazer as search vehicle)(part number FRA-143)(cost was$49.78 with fed ex)
5. Correct speedometer gears for trans
6. Stacked trans cooler
7. Trans temp gauge
8. Diesel gov. assembly
9. Dip stick
10. Dip stick tube
11. 700R4 Crossmember
12. 700R4 Crossmember trans mount
I just actively started this process. Im working with a family owned local transmission shop with multiple locations State wide to build my 700R4 to my specs. Ive been reading all of the threads on the swap here on SS. Great source of information. I will post picures of the build process and install as they come along.
