The PU is simply a combination of a MEP generator and a trailer (it stands for Power Unit). What you need is the two TM's one for the 20 KW generator, and the one for the trailer it sits on.

The PU 794G is basically a souped up MEP-004 on a trailer. A 004 is rated for 15 KW, the 794 for 20KW.

I have one. I could not find a specific manual for the 794, but as near as I can tell the differences are really minimal. The speed (frequency) regulation is electronic, not manual, or hydraulic. I think that the 004 was so strong, that the military just tweaked it a bit and upped its power rating.

YMMV

I just picked up one of these models today. It runs good, someone has robbed some of the switches.I want to use it for back up power for my house.I assume it will work fine for that.I would also like to get a operator manual for it.
